Break Switch

Scan tool displays APPLIED or RELEASED. Indicates the brake pedal position. When the brake pedal is depressed a signal voltage is sent to the PCM. If a fault occurs on this circuit known as the cruise control brake switch 2 Circuit, a P1586 will set and cruise will not function.
