Switch Monitor Function:

The ECU Switch Monitor Function permits checking individual switches with Mazda Self-Diagnosis Checker (SST #49 H018 9A1) or a compatible aftermarket "Scan" tool. With ignition switch "ON" and diagnosis connector "TEN" terminal grounded, the SST will check switches as indicated on the image chart. Consult aftermarket "Scan" tool instructions for proper use of this function.
