Variable Resistor Testing

Fig. 31 Checking variable resistor.:

1. Disconnect the variable resistor connector.
2. Check the resistance of the variable resistor using a circuit tester Fig. 31.

Resistance: Terminals A-C 0.5-4.5 kohms Terminals B-C 0.5-4.5 kohms

3. Replace the resistor if necessary.
4. Adjust the idle mixture.
