1. Start and run engine until normal operating temperature is reached, then stop engine.
2. Connect voltmeter as shown in Fig. 17 (negative lead to chassis ground).

3. Turn ignition switch to On position and measure voltage at terminals indicated in Fig. 24. If voltage is not as specified, check wiring, connectors and corresponding components to locate malfunction.
