Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR (KS)







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the intake manifold.
3. Disconnect the 2 knock sensor (KS) electrical connectors.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 KS.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
