Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the Idler Air Control (IAC) valve. Refer to Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic.







2. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector.







3. Remove the TP sensor.
1 Remove the screws from the TP sensor.
2 Remove the TP sensor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ After installation, cycle the throttle lever to Wide Open Throttle (WOT). It should return without interference.
