Connecting Rod Cap Fasteners

Install and alternately tighten the fasteners in several passes.

Tightening Torque

Step 1 25 Nm (18 ft.lb.)

Step 2 Turn 90 degrees

If any one of the fasteners is broken or deformed, replace it.

Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the heads of the fasteners.
