Keyless Entry Transmitter: Testing and Inspection

Remote Keyless Entry Programming

1. Open the hood, and locate the diagnostic connector near the battery.
2. Jump pin 15 to pin 17.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
4. Press the LOCK button on the first transmitter two times; repeat again for the second remote.
5. Turn the ignition "OFF" and remove the key.
6. Disconnect the jumper from the diagnostic connection. Verify key transmitter operation.

Note: 2 key transmitters are allowed on this system.
