Chime System

DRIVER INFORMATION WARNINGS (CHIME)
The Chime is located in the cluster.

However, the cluster goes to sleep with the ignition off, so the BCM turns on the Cluster Wakeup Output when it detects that the Headlamps-On Warning or the Key-In-Ignition Warning conditions exist.

The BCM sends these warnings to the Cluster over the PCI bus.
