Front Toe Adjustment

Toe-in is adjusted by changing tie rod length. Loosen boot clamps and slide from the boot assembly. Loosen right and left tie rod end locknuts, then turn right and left tie rods to align toe-in to specification. Right and left tie rods must be equal in length, Fig. 1.

After adjustment, install boot clamps, tighten nuts to specification and ensure rack boots are not twisted. Torque strut-to-knuckle nut to specifications, and tie rod locking nut to 41 ft. lbs.
