Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

Using the proper removal tool, remove the oxygen sensor. Clean the threads in the exhaust manifold with a tap before re-installing the oxygen sensor. Coat oxygen sensor threads with a nickel based anti-seize compound. DO NOT use graphite or other anti-seize compounds. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS for oxygen sensor tightening torque.
