Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Throttle Position Sensor Check:

Throttle Position Sensor Output Check:

1. Remove air cleaner assembly.
2. Disconnect throttle position sensor electrical connector.
3. Using a digital multimeter, check throttle position sensor resistances (refer to the illustrations).
4. Adjust or replace according to procedure.
5. Install throttle position sensor electrical connector.
6. Install air cleaner assembly.
