Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL:

1. Remove the battery negative (-) cable.
2. Remove the plastic cap from the coil.
3. Disconnect lead wires and ignition coil wire at coil.
4. Remove coil mounting bracket (2 bolts).

INSTALLATION:

1. Install coil mounting bracket to bulkhead.
2. Install ignition coil wire to coil.
3. Connect lead wires to coil positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
4. Install plastic cap to coil.
5. Connect negative (-) battery cable.
