Air Injection Flow Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air pump assembly. Air Injection Pump





3. Remove 2 bracket mounting bolts.





4. Remove the bracket assembly.





5. Disconnect the electrical connector to MAF.





6. Twist the MAF sideways and remove from bracket.
7. Remove the rubber mounting.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the rubber mounting to MAF sensor.
2. Twist the MAF sideways and install to bracket.
3. Connect the electrical connector to MAF.
4. Install the bracket assembly.
5. Install 2 bracket mounting bolts.
6. Install the air pump assembly. Air Injection Pump
7. Connect negative battery cable.
