Control Module: Service Precautions

It is NOT a recommended practice to interchange transmission control modules from one vehicle to another.

If:

- a same year transmission control module is being used from a different vehicle, or
- the transmission control module has been replaced,

the quick learn, Electronically Modulated Converter Clutch (EMCC) reset, and electronic pinion factor procedures must be performed before operating the transaxle.
