Body Control Module Programming and Setup

Body Control Module (BCM) Replacement

If the body control module (BCM) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed in the order described:

1. BCM Setup
2. BPP Sensor Calibration

Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration.

Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) Replacement

If the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) is replaced, the BCM Setup procedure must be performed.

Brake Pedal Position (BPP) Sensor Replacement

If the brake pedal position (BPP) sensor is replaced, the BPP Sensor Calibration procedure must be performed. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration.
